Little Bennett... Big Oops

So just when I think I'm about ready to try the next level in orienteering I get super lost on my current level:/. It was a great day for orienteering at Little Bennett but 29:28 is not a great time for getting from control 3 to 4... Big oops.  My lesson for today...

Just because everyone is running one way on your course doesn't mean you should second guess the direction that you have chosen because a small difference in the direction you think you are going makes a big difference over long distances... sort of like being just a little off on your compass heading... the farther you go, the more off you get.

Besides getting lost, I will also remember Little Bennett for the snowy path to the remote start...

And lots of downed trees and big root stocks like this one...

Thank you QOC for rescheduling this event since it was rained out the first time and a big thanks to all of the volunteers who worked the event... And Greg for taking this handstand pic...
